Vegan Chocolate Spread (World Nutella Day)

I made Vegan chocolate spread to celebrate World Nutella Day. Don’t get me wrong…it doesn’t taste like Nutella, that wasn’t my intention. I wanted to make something inspired by Nutella. Nevertheless, f you change the cashews for hazelnuts, it will remind you to the real thing. I just found it interesting to make a cashew and chocolate spread for the first time. I love the result, and I’ve been eating it all day.

Ingredients (makes a small batch):

65 gr raw cashews

20 gr white sugar

10 gr golden syrup

10 gr cocoa powder

10 gr oat milk

10 gr margarine or coconut oil

Method:

Soak the nuts for a couple of hours and rinse.

Blend everything together, if the consistency is not what you wanted, add more oatmilk little by little.

Enjoy with some fruit preserve and mint on a toast…believe me it’s delicious 🙂
