Avocado Toast

Avocado Toast with an extra pinch of protein

Ingredients

  • 1 avocado
  • 2 slices of bread (gluten-free)
  • 1 tbsp tahini
  • 1 tbsp hemp seeds
  • 1 tsp olive oil
  • 1 dash salt
  • 1 dash black pepper
  • 1 dash sumac
  • 1 dash smoked paprika
  • fresh thyme
  • 1/2 lime (juice)
  • 1 tsp nooch

Instructions

  1. Make toasts, I don't have a toaster so I usually use the oven or a pan.

  2. Place half of the avocado (pitted and without skin) on top of the toast.

  3. Smash with a fork.

  4. Add the tahini and then the hemp seeds.

  5. Add the spices and salt on top.

  6. Sprinkle some olive oil and lime juice, finish it with some fresh thyme.

Recipe Notes

If you don't have fresh thyme, use any other herb that you have on hand. If you don't have any you can add dried thyme, but the purpose of the herb is the freshness, so I'd rather go for cilantro, parsley or even rosemary intead of a dry herb.
