February 2020 – 🎧- Spotify playlist and other Winter musings ❄️

Where did January go? Please, somebody explain! Don’t you have the impression that this January was incredibly short? Because I do.

Blame it on all the work I had to do, but usually…that makes time go slower. I don’t know, in fact…we all know that time is relative, so let’s blame it on that.

January has been quite a musical month. I’ve already played the first gig of the year (read here) and we’re still recording that new album that most surely is coming out this year. I’m excited, but honestly…a bit overworked. But I’m happy and I’m glad I managed to sneak some minutes a day to curate a spotify playlist for you 😁

I’ve made the playlist for February. I hope you like it, I do. It has some serious madness going on: from 80’s classics to mellow tunes and a lot of acoustic songs. To be honest, I feel that this one is more focused on winter than the one I made in January (click here). It feels more like it at least. I had to include Gloria, by Laura Branigan. After the hurricane hit the country, I couldn’t take the song out of my head. Added some extra minutes in case you want to indulge, too.

I usually play the playlists while working on something that doesn’t require my ears to be “all in” so I can enjoy the music itself. When you work as a musician, if you pay too much attention to a song it’s not the same feeling πŸ˜…

There you go, a short post with a long playlist. Tell me your thoughts and of course, I’m open to recomendations of other artists that I may or may not know. Just leave a comment and I’ll try to listen to your suggestions. Have fun and keep fooding!
