Hello again. I’m back! Life update: January 2024.

Hey!

Did you miss me? I surely did. I’ve been focusing in other projects but the other day I felt the urge to come back here. To write in English about life and food. But as always, tune in your spotify and listen to my January Playlist. It comes with oldies. I felt nostalgic.

I decided to come back to this monthly summaries. More as a check up than anything else. I really don’t focus my life on food that much lately. I mean, I cook every day twice daily. That counts. But I don’t feel like taking photos before that.

My life has changed in many ways, but food is always present. The thing is…our relationship changes. It doesn’t mean is worse, maybe it’s just more private.

But this winter I’ve been missing this space, and it may sound weird, but the language too. I feel better writing in English most of the time. Don’t ask me why, I wouldn’t be able to answer.

But language and food appart, I’ve been well. I’ve been more than well, actually. I’ve been working and healing, resting and getting deeper into the layers that I’ve been trying to unfold.

Burrata salad I prepared for our New Year’s Eve. Delicious and light, perfect for all they playing around we did afterwards.

I endend 2023 eating a peanut butter banana toast for breakfast, something I don’t usually eat for breakfast. An unusual ending. I love to reflect about all this little things in life, because those are what make life special and different.

This year is going to be great, huge and amazing. I can feel it. And that doesn’t mean it’s goig to be all a bed of roses, but there’s going to be beds and roses too. I am definitely happy and excited to see what January has on its sleeve for me.

Wanted to leave this post with a picture of the leftovers I took from my Mum’s the day of Epiphany. I love those recipes she made for me ♥️ I’m so grateful.

As always it was a pleasure writing to you. Have fun and keep fooding!
