Goodbye Virgo Season, Libra is coming (Monthly update + October Playlist)

October playlist celebrates Libra spirit and my soon to be birthday. I say goodbye to Virgo season with high hopes about what this month wants to bring me. Here’s the playlist. Remember to tune in before you start reading 🙂

I’ve always been aware that time isn’t as we’re told, I’ve always believed that it isn’t a fixed structure. They told us that an hour passes and that means 60 minutes of our lives. Yet we check the clock every minute and time seems to pass slower than most days.

I’ve always believed that time is flexible. Now I am convinced. September has passed through my eyesand I didn’t even noticed.

But then, I check my phone and see that there’s been many experienced lived and, for that, you need x amount of time. Yet, you are sure…it hasn’t been a whole month.

Did some busking too.

I am so thrilled though that October has finally arrived. I am nuts for October. It’s my month.

Pincho and drink

This year I don’t have any birthday plans, nor Halloween plans…which is kind of unusual for me, but I love October and I am sure I’m going to enjoy it.

I’m really into rose flavour now. I used to hate it, now I love it. It happened with lavender some years ago. I think I’m more into flowers lately.

September started with a lot of rain here in Coruña. I love how the weather let us see how the seasons are changing. Anticipating the moment of the equinox when autumn has finally settled.

The days are getting colder now, and I don’t put ice in my smoothies anymore. I love that. Fall is my favourite season. Although I’m glad there’s still sunshine and not only clouds. Even if it’s just for a part of the day.

I’ve been working in so many projects at the same time. Many of them, from my new website silviarabade.com

Virgo season settled. I love Virgo season. Always and forever. But now it’s October, and Libra season is coming.

You won’t believe me if I tell you this, but trust me…it’s true. I tried my first ever Pumpkin Spice Latte. I liked it. Even if (without sugar) was too sweet for me. Here’s the proof I tried it. I’ve been wanting to try it for years. Something to check off my list.

I was invited to a nice event and shared some very nice moments and conversations.

I really appreciate those moments in life in which it seems that you are exactly where you need to be. It happened a couple of times this month and it was very satisfying.

But, to be honest, I also had some very rough times this month. There was a day that I was so many hours running errands that I had to stop, eat a sandwich and breathe before I headed back home. I didn’t even had the energy to drive.

Lucky for me, I listen to my body, and after that breathing and eating I was feeling much better. Trust your instincts and listen to your body, they know what you need.

I was in Vigo too, we were nominated for “Adiós Ríos” the music video and we met Jacobo and Javi, who appear in the video. It was such a fun night. I always have fun in Vigo. It’s a fun kind of place. It’s one of my happy places.

The next day I was craving sushi for breakfast, but everything was closed. I know…bummer. So I had to wait until lunch and went to grab a Poke Bowl. Which isn’t sushi. I know…bummer. But I wanted it even more. My cravings are very specific, but next day I had sushi, don’t you worry ma’ loves.

Appart from that, the month ended with an event that I really love. Forum Gastronomic. I got invited to the three days. Unfortunately…I got sick on the first one. I am glad I could go to the first day, but I noticed I started coughing and when I arrived home I got a cold. I probably got it the previous week because I was kind of stressed and stress always brings me colds. But I was so sad I couldn’t see the rest of the event. It was so frustrating.

I enjoyed the first day like if I was a kid, and I took a lot of pictures and vídeos. I tried a lot of food and talked to a lot of nice people. But there were so many things left to do.

Even if I could have tried going (I couldn’t almost walk because I was so tired and coughing all night) I’m not one of those people that goes to crowded places when she’s sick. I don’t want other people to get sick…pre-covid and post-covid, even if it’s not covid. Even if that means wait for another couple of years to experience something that is really unique each year.

Plumpy delicious grapes on my vine ❤️

But, the universe is kind to me and allowed me to get uncomfortably sick on the second day so I could at least have a taste of what it was all about and so I can tell you. I am forever grateful for the timing. Even if it wasn’t ideal.

Lil’ drawing I made for a DTIYS.

In September I also read one of the most beautiful graphic novels ever.

I visited MEGA and had some beer tasting for the first time.

Saw my sister’s Tamagotchi grow “well”. She was getting spoiled brats, all the time.

Met some beautiful cats that followed me around.

And stayed in bed for almost a week cuddling my own roomies because of the cold.

Today I am writing in my office, the cold is leaving me. Finally. It’s the first day I managed to be out of the bed. I am proud of myself.

Spirulina makes everything pretty 😍

So I guess, what we must learn from September is: Don’t wait until you get sick to rest. Dont’ be such a Sílvia. Have fun and keep fooding!
